Insanara band profile
Insanara is a group composed of young music artists from Iligan City namely Jason Dana A. Ramos, Carlos A. Abbu Jr, Bill Albert “Billy” A. Abbu, and Paolo Aranas.
Tired from doing the showband district , frontman and band leader Jason Ramos decided to write his own songs and invited his three cousins to perform as a band together.
On October 2006, Insanara was officially formed after each member left their respective bands – Jason was formerly from Most Wanted, and the siblings Carlos, Billy, and Paolo played for H2O band. From then on, the band performed in countless gigs among which include doing front acts for corporate promotional events and concerts.
Far from their early years as cousins who just perform with self-made kombolata instruments for fun, Insanara is now more than ready to create and play music with their upcoming debut album “Kandado”, which is slated for release on 2008.
Insanara derived from the word: Insan- pinsan/ cousin
Sanara-“kabaliktaran ng Aranas”, w/c is our middle name.
Insanara’s music style fused from different kinds of music influences from each band member and making their own pop rock music Iliganon style.
